Shreya and Adella received funding through the NIH

Both doctoral candidates were awarded F31 funding for two years for their respective projects!

Adella’s project titled “Evaluating the Impact of Loss of Heterozygosity on Localized AVM Formation in HHT” uses a new mouse model to better represent patient genotype and monitor disease progression.

Shreya’s project entitled “Uncovering the Combined Effects of VEGFA and ANG2 Pro-Angiogenic Signaling in Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia” utilizes a dual VEGF/ANG2 bi-specific inhibitor to uncover potential synergism between these two pathways.
